Chirp-Chirp.... Chirp-Chirp....

Things have come to a bit of a screeching halt - temporarily.

The other day I was out working in the garden, and managed to tear the skin off the well-being of my thumb and first finger. Two days later, I found out I am allergic to Neosporin. I now have a great, big, painful blister in the webbing AND it's growing. It certainly becomes difficult to write, type, wash dishes, do laundry, wash your hair, pull weeds, or repair ANYTHING with just one hand when your instinct is to grab with the damaged hand.
In fact, some of these - dishes being a big one - I cannot do with ONE hand. So... things have been silent on here.

To add to this, my son and my certifiable mother are here. My son is doing great; he's special needs and has spent the last two days at my aunt's laptop with his headset in, listening to/ watching Mythbusters clips. Well… not so much watching as looping a key phrase, sound, or action for an hour or more. That would be why he wears the headset - so *we* can remain sane. ;)

My mother, however, is happiest chasing us all over the property while talking in Illuminati-level persecution theories, and assaulting me - against my will and despite my firm and repeated "no" - with her "green miracle", some bubbly dilution she says is derived from kelp and is safe to spray anywhere on your body/face. She, at one point, shot a blast from her mister right between my glasses and my face, which sprayed it straight into my open eye and clear into my ear, as well.

With all of this going on, I'm having some struggles getting anything done.

Hopefully, I will have updates soon!

Welcome Home.

Well, here's to my new home on the web!

I have lived on the Hermitage since April 6th, 2015.

Before moving to Citrus Heights - a section of Sacramento County - I had lived here for three years.

Ten years (plus) away has given me a bit of culture shock, but worse is the lack of a very special person, and the Family we chose/made together.
